Community Involvement
Rise Air is invested in the well-being of the communities in which we live and work through our corporate giving and community sponsorship activities. The goal of our in-kind donations, volunteer programs and charitable contributions is to support organizations that help address the critical healthcare, educational, cultural, and economic needs of our communities.
Please note: Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event to be considered.
Upon the completion of an event or sponsorship, Recipients must provide a report within 30 days highlighting how the funds were used. Failure to provide a report may result in rejection of future applications.
On a case-by-case basis, the following conditions will be considered in determining the benefits and risks of accepting a request.
- Is the request being made by a registered not-for-profit or charity?
- How does the proposed use of the monies relate to the Company’s commitment to Indigenous youth, women, 2SLGBTQIA+, and Elders in the communities we serve?
- Why does the entity want the company to donate to, endorse or sponsor them?
- Do the practices of the entity fit with the organizational values and beliefs and commitment to Indigenous youth, women, 2SLGBTQIA+, and Elders in our communities?
- Will the company be able to review and approve public statements about the activity or event?
- Will the entity, upon request, provide evidence that the funds have been used for the purpose of the request?
- Would the granting of the request create any conflicts of interest, real or perceived?
This form must not be used for the sponsorship or marketing of for-profit organizations, including league or privately owned sports teams.
