We offer daily freight service to the communities we serve in northern Saskatchewan. No matter how big or small your shipment is, Rise Air offers three shipping options: three, seven, or fourteen working days. Rise Air bases are fully equipped with coolers and freezer space to properly store your cargo until it is shipped.
Pet Acceptance
Changes to the transportation of animals on scheduled services.
We are updating our policies regarding the transportation of animals on our scheduled services to align with legislation. Just as importantly, Rise Air wants to ensure the highest standard of welfare for our customers' pets.
These changes do not affect Service Animals, which are animals individually trained by a person or organization specializing in service dog training to perform a task or tasks that assist a person with a disability related to their disability.
- Animals must be able to stand and turn around comfortably inside the carrier.
- A maximum of three animals from the same litter may be transported together in one container.
- The maximum size of the container/kennel (length + width + height) must not exceed 101 x 69 x 76 cm / 40 x 27 x 30 inches.
- The maximum allowable weight for both the animal and container/kennel must not exceed 75 kg / 165 lbs.
Hours of operation:
Temporarily, our cargo office in Saskatoon is currently closed on Sundays. The facility will reopen on October 26, 2025 with the hours published below.

All cargo facilities outside of Saskatoon are open during flight operations. Please contact them directly using the telephone numbers in the contact section.
Important Notices:
If the Saskatoon cargo facility or any other northern base is closed, please do not leave your property unattended at our facilities. Without a valid Airway Bill confirming receipt of your items, Rise Air cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. All items intended for shipment must be handed over directly to an authorized agent in person.
Rise Air's shipping options are based on our operational days (working week). Rise Air does not fly a scheduled service for passengers or freight on Saturdays.
Space in refrigerators and freezers at our facilities is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We may have to refuse the receipt of perishables and frozen items until we can safely store them. Flight cancellations and/or factors beyond our control may result in a reduction of refrigerator and freezer capacity.
