Safety regulations require that all carry-on baggage conforms to the following specifications:

All musical instruments must be stowed in the overhead compartment, under the seat, or in other approved locations at the discretion of the Rise Air customer service attendant after checking flight and baggage loads. Musical instruments may also be accepted as checked baggage when properly packed. Overweight and oversize fees may apply.

Liability Disclaimer – If a musical instrument is damaged or lost because of mishandling by Rise Air and requires repair and/or replacement and the instrument(s) was packaged properly, the maximum liability paid out will not exceed $2,300.00CAD.

All claims must include proof of original receipt or professional appraisal. If the passenger declares the monetary value of the musical instrument is greater than the maximum liability, the instrument is required to be shipped as cargo where a declared value can be established.
